Jordan Jones

Jordan Jones, a.k.a. JJ the Artist, was born and raised in New Britain, CT. and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2012 with a degree in Fine Arts. After earning his degree, he worked in graphic design. It wasn’t until 2015 that Jordan began painting and displayed in his first art show. Since then, he has done many shows in Connecticut as well as New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Los Angeles, and Miami. His art has allowed him to meet and present paintings to multiple celebrities including DJ Khaled, 50 Cent, Jadakiss, George Springer, Dave East, Jacquees, Gunna to name a few. More recently, combining his fine art and graphic design skills, he has developed the “Culture Card Collection”, a spin on the original Pokemon Card Game, using rappers and hip hop culture as the content. He has done over 30 rappers including Nipsey Hussle, J Cole, Max B, Cardi B, The LOX, and many more. Jordan’s style is realistic yet expressive and has the ability to capture the true essence and personalities of his many subjects. Check out his work at the Trap Music Museum in the Cardi B exhibit.
