Mirage Vanguard

Mirage Vanguard is an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary artist, best known for her colorful pop art and contemporary work with nods to pop and black culture. Growing up in suburban Atlanta, Vanguard discovered she was a natural artist at a young age. Her father, being a talented artist himself, encouraged her to explore and develop her artistic abilities as early as elementary school, where she would often find herself staying in during recess to sketch portraits of her friends in lieu of the playground. Vanguard began her career as an artist making mixtape covers for local rappers, most notably Drake ghostwriter Quentin Miller. In 2015, Vanguard presented a small collection in her first group exhibition and has since been in 40+ exhibitions at several respected galleries throughout Atlanta and surrounding areas. Having interned with prominent street artist Fabian Williams in 2018, Vanguard has expanded into creating murals, including projects with rappers 21 Savage, T.I., and 2 Chainz as well as local businesses Slim & Huskeys, MARTA and Civic Walls.
